Snow in November
Yesterday there was snow in the Scottish Highlands; today snow is expected in East Anglia; tomorrow it may strike the English Midlands.
In the United Kingdom there is always a panic reaction to such meteorological events; so undoubtedly civilisation will not come to an end.
However, sceptics such as myself wonder how this early snow flurry is really compatible with global warming.
Especially as 2008 has not been a year of high temperatures.
However, such scepticism is blasphemy; so I refrain from comment!
