Obsesity is cool

Recently watched - by chance - a programme on BBC3 which campaigned for rights for grossly obese people. The BBC coyly entitled it ***k off I'm fat. It was a plea for society to change its ways so that the grossly obese can enjoy all things without any problems. This included aeroplanes with enormous seats; safely riding at Alton Towers; and obtaining clothing in extraordinary big sizes.

One of the saddest moments was two female teens searching for size 20 trendy gear in Oxford Street. They eventually had it made for them (courtesy of the BBC0); and sadly looked grotesque. No-one said anything to them about the perils of being overweight; all the emphasis was about "rights".

The ultimate was a gigantic female (she had 58G breasts) who could not get into cars. Eventually a Jaguar had to be modified (thanks to the BBC) to satisfy her passion for fast driving.

It is not easy to lose weight; but I think that being unable to do certain everyday things at least may bring it home to enormous people that being like that has many downsides.

The programme contributed nothing to the creation of a healthy nation.
