Bush versus Kerry
The fact that Bush is considered by so many to a worthy President fills one with despair as the American election draws near.
His web site clearly indicates his (or the conservatives who support him) philosophy, if that is an appropriate word.
However, a look at Kerry's site reveals that his liberalism is only skin-deep. In fact, his nauseating support for the pariah state of Israel indicates that the diabolical equation of the United States equals Israel applies to both Democrats and Republicans.
Is there any rational explanation?

Archbishop of Canterbury reflects concerning Israel
Anything which Dr. Williams says is worthy of study and reflection. He is not an exponent of the sound-bite. So this sermon requires most careful study.
Hopefully it will make a positive contribution to a theological assessment of the role of Israel; and hopefully it will encourage moderate voices in a region which is characterized by hate and extremism.
I am convinced that the rise of anti-semitism is linked to the actions of Israel and to an Orthodox Judaism which never criticises Israel; and that justice for Palestine will make our world a safer place.
